Company

We make fake harder than real.

Every other abuse-defense tool works probabilistically. Root Herald moves the trust anchor into hardware (the TPM, Secure Enclave, or StrongBox a device already ships with) and turns 'is this a real machine?' into a cryptographic question with a yes/no answer.

Why we exist

Signup forms stopped being interviews with humans a decade ago.

The internet runs on the assumption that a signup form is an interview with a human. It hasn't been for a decade. The going rate for a verified-looking signup (burner email, residential proxy, fingerprint spoofer, captcha solver) is fractions of a cent, and falling. Every product that funds itself on a free tier, every claim flow, every DAO vote, every review platform is now playing a game where the cheating side has unlimited cheap moves.

We're building the layer that ends that asymmetry. Not by adding friction for real users (the SDK is one call, the verdict is one string) but by binding the proof to hardware the attacker doesn't have. Every shipping laptop, phone, and tablet has a TPM, Secure Enclave, or StrongBox. We measure it, we verify the manufacturer attestation, and we hand your application back a stable, anonymous pseudonym you can rate-limit on.
